With Attendance Awareness Month starting in a just a few weeks, now's the time to make sure that your superintendent has signed the 2018 Call to Action. Your superintendent's support of the Call to Action will be a public "line in the sand" to combat chronic absence by priotizing attendance, mobilizing your community, and "driving" with data. Over 600 superintendents across the country have already signed, has yours?
If you don't see your superintendent's name on the list, consider reaching out to them to tell them how important attendance is to you. In partnership with Attendance Works, we have written a template letter that you're free to use and modify to let your superintendent know that attendance should be a priority in your community. The letter also contains helpful links that provide additional information that your superintendent can reference.
