As 2017 quickly approaches, the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) is excited to share a new funding opportunity to support your community in keeping kids learning, safe and healthy each summer. This opportunity builds on a network of partnerships, including the Campaign for Grade Level Reading.

Smarter summers, brighter futures for young people begin with a shared community vision and system-wide, coordinated approach for meeting the learning, safety and wellness needs of the children and youth you serve. NSLA is pleased to jumpstart your summer planning through a matching grant initiative that will be awarded to ten cities interested in cross-sector, community-wide planning designed to build a stronger summer learning ecosystem where more services and programs deliver more to young people every summer.
