As we continue to share new and exciting resources to assist you as you and your communities are planning for the summer, we would like to inform you of a great new book from NSLA’s Board Chair, Matthew Boulay, Summers Matter. This groundbreaking book on the importance of accessible summer learning opportunities provides engaging and educational activities that keep kids active and learning during the summer months and is slated to be published by Amazon on June 1st.


Summers Matter translates the most compelling research into accessible tips and guidance for parents, teachers, and principals on how they can integrate summer learning programs into their own schools and communities – regardless of income or access.
