We are so encouraged by the response to Tell Our Story and the quality of the stories that we are extending the opportunity another few weeks in order to give more of you a chance to participate. Please keep the stories coming and also take a few minutes to review and comment on what your colleagues submitted.

We also wanted you to know that the W. K. Kellogg Foundation recently announced a new grant competition for organizations identifying and cultivating innovations in family engagement that support early childhood educational success. Grants are for up to $500,000 and cover 1 to 3 years.  The deadline for initial submissions is September 23, 2013 and eligible applicants will be invited to submit full proposals in October. All of us at the Network Communities Support Center hope you have wonderful Labor Day weekend.

Sincerely,

Susanne
