- Increase in the percent/number of children from low-income families who attend summer programs that provide breakfast and lunch.
- Increase in the percent/number of children enrolled in summer learning programs with literacy/pre-literacy supports who attend at least 80 percent of time.
- Increase in the percent/number of students who attend summer learning programs and do not experience a loss in literacy skills from the end of one school year to the beginning of the next.
Performance measures help communities hold themselves accountable for achieving the target, which reflects progress, and for producing results that improve conditions for children.
