July 22, 2014

Dear Colleague,

This week’s news from the Network Communities Support Center covers how one community reduced chronic absence in Michigan, new materials from Read Aloud 15 Minutes, guides to Huddle groups and more:

  • Are you looking for a poster to help emphasize reading during the summer? Or social media posts stressing the importance of summer reading? We're sharing these new materials from the Read Aloud 15 MINUTES Seize the Summer campaign. See them here.

  • The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) will be awarding approximately $500 million to expand access to high-quality, comprehensive services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families through Early Head Start-Child Care (EHS-CC) Partnerships, or through the expansion of Early Head Start services. Deadline is August 20, 2014. Apply here.
